Event Overview:

Have a fun time to practice your preferred language while making new friends.

The Chinese/English Language Exchange Meetup is an informal gathering where language enthusiasts come together to practice and improve our language skills through conversation and cultural exchange. Participants are encouraged to speak in your target language(s) and help others learn yours.

Agenda:

Networking and Social (20 minutes)

Introduction (5 minutes)

Language Tables Fun Time (60 minutes)

Rotate tables every 15-20 minutes to allow for interaction with different participants.

Refreshment Break (10 minutes)

Light refreshments and beverages break.

Cultural Presentations (15 minutes)

Invite participants to share short presentations or anecdotes related to their target language(s) or culture.

Encourage questions and discussion.

Open Floor (10 minutes)

Allow participants to share their language learning experiences, resources, and tips with the group.

Feedback and Closing (5 minutes)

Tips:

Feel free to bring language-learning materials, such as dictionaries or language textbooks, to aid in conversations.

Cost:

$10 minimum spend at UDLE on any food/drinks. A minimum of $10 is to be spent at UDLE to help support the venue, who have allowed us to host our events here.
