Chinese Character Calligraphy with Fountain Pens

Join us for a beginner-friendly Chinese fountain pen calligraphy workshop at the SF Pen Show. Intermediate learners are also welcome.

Discover the art of Chinese fountain pen calligraphy in this hands-on workshop at the SF Pen Show.

Designed for beginners, this session introduces the fundamentals of writing Chinese characters with a fountain pen, including basic stroke techniques, character structure, spacing, balance, and pen control. Participants will follow guided demonstrations and practice selected characters during the workshop.

No previous calligraphy experience or Chinese language background is required. Intermediate learners are also welcome and may use the session to refine their technique and character structure.

Two identical 45-minute sessions are available:
