Chinese-American Takeout at Home - Cooking Class

From savory crab rangoons and savory beef and broccoli, to crispy eggrolls and mouthwatering General Tso's chicken, our expert chef will guide you through the steps to create these iconic dishes from scratch. Along the way, you'll pick up essential cooking techniques and tips, such as how to achieve perfect recreations of your favorite takeout staples and how to balance flavors for that authentic Chinese-American taste.

In addition to mastering these delicious dishes, you'll also have a blast in our interactive class. Our chef will share insights about Chinese-American cuisine and culture, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions about any and all of your kitchen queries.

On the menu is porkl and cabbage potstickers with spicy soy and sweet & sour dipping sauce, crispy and spicy General Tso's chicken, and stir-fried beef lo mein.

PLAYTE Kitchen in-person cooking classes are approximately 3 hours in length (2 hours in the kitchen and an hour to enjoy the food you’ve prepared). All guests will be provided kitchen towels, aprons, a class recipe packet to take home, and plenty of foodie fun along the way. A confirmation email will be sent upon ticket purchase will all the info you’ll need to know prior to arriving for your class.
