Chinese American Bear is a lighthearted and quirky mandopop duo from Seattle, creating fun & eclectic bilingual English/Chinese ear candy. Comprised of Anne Tong and Bryce Barsten, the married couple creates groovy, and “not too serious, food loving” tunes in their home studio together. Their sound, somewhere between The Flaming Lips, The B-52’s, MGMT, and a hypercolor cartoon, has earned tens of millions of streams and global acclaim. They’ve been featured in VOGUE+, Paste Magazine, Under the Radar, celebrated by BBC Radio and KEXP (#1 album), and spotlighted across major Spotify playlists including All New Indie, Indie’s Top 50, Fresh Finds (#1 cover track), Bedroom Pop, Chill Vibes, and more. They toured internationally with the release of their second album Wah!!! including 15 cities in China, multiple trips to the UK, dozens of festivals, and support for the pop star/internet phenomenon Poppy (USA), and Greer (USA). Their music has been featured in the film The Wedding Banquet, Apple TV series Platonic, EA’s “Skate” video game, an Apple commercial, and more. Their newest 12 track album Dim Sum & Then Sum will release in May 2026 with Moshi Moshi Records. The band plans to tour extensively across the USA, Europe, and Asia afterwards.

An Ontario-based psychedelic electroclash duo who lace their live, synth hardware set with lush vocals. Their music explores acid-house, synth-pop, techno, disco, and their live performance gives off punk energy. Speaking to self-expression and community their lyrics weave mantras to empower their audience. Although their music is electronic, MOONBEAN plays an all-live hardware set leaving room for improvisation, experimentation and audience engagement. Their musical inspirations align with Peaches, Nine Inch Nails, Ladytron and Eurythmics. They've toured nationally and internationally three times, headlined Hillside Festival, Folk On The Rocks, played Rainbow Trout Music Festival, Sappyfest and are about to play Sled Island and PRIDE Toronto.
