An Exhibition about the Chindit Special Forces that fought behind enemy lines in the jungles of Burma in WW2
About this Event

With support from the Chindit Society, Kohima Museum in York is holding a free exhibition about the Chindits. Most of the exhibits will be on loan from private collections belonging to the families of Chindits. This is a unique opportunity to see artefacts never previously displayed in public.

From June 28 to August 29, the Chindit Exhibition will be open to visitors every Thursday from 10.00 until 13.15. Because it is located inside Imphal Barracks, photo ID is required for entry (passport or driving license).
