Join us for a 16km circular walk from Tring Station, exploring the ancient Ridgeway National Trail and the dramatic hilltop of Ivinghoe Beacon – once an Iron Age hillfort and still one of the best viewpoints in the Chilterns.Our route takes in sweeping ridges, rolling chalk downland and the open grasslands of Pitstone Hill, alive with late-season wildflowers, butterflies and soaring red kites. Expect a mix of ridge paths, woodlands and farmland trails, with steady climbs and rewarding views throughout.
