Our New Cov favorite, the annual Chili Cook-Off, is coming up on Sunday, February 1, starting at 5:00 pm. It's always a great event in which we come together as a church family and have a friendly competition to determine the “Best Chili Makers” in our church.This year we are raising funds for Mission 143, a ministry based out of New Covenant that exists to serve those suffering from homelessness and those at risk for becoming unhoused.
If you aren't competing, make sure to bring some money to vote on your favorite chili. Also, people with last names that begin with A-L bring desserts and M-Z bring fixin's (Fixins=crackers, cheese, Fritos, cornbread, onions, etc.) .
You can sign up to bring chili as an individual or sign up with your family group or some friends to compete as a group!
