Chili & Chowder with a Chance for Chocolate is back with sweet and savory goodies on Saturday, Feb. 14, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. during one of four Winter Weekends in Wellsboro. Proceeds benefit Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries.
Several businesses in downtown Wellsboro will concoct chili and/or chowder that can be sampled with the purchase of a tasting passport. At each location, tasters can enter to win a chocolate-themed basket, each being valued at $25 or more. When done tasting, participants can vote for their top three favorite dishes to recognize the hardworking chili/chowder chefs.

All proceeds benefit local homeless, abandoned and at-risk dogs and cats helped by Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries.
