Many of our lovely small customers have been requesting a children’s book club and while it’s taken a while to organise, we are pleased to let you know that our first Children’s book club will be on Saturday 3rd February and will run at the same time on the 1st of each month. Early readers (approx. 6 – 9 years) will run from 2.30-3.15pm and Middle Grade (approx. 9-12 years) will run from 3.30-4.15pm. Bookclub will cost £2.00 with £1.00 redeemable against the cost of a book.
Similar to our grown up book club, we will select a book each month and then discuss it while enjoying a hot chocolate, squash and biscuits (instead of cheese and wine!)
This month, we will be reading – Early Reader – The Girl Who Became a Fish by Polly Ho-Yen
Middle Grade – Beast Lands by Jess French
