This month, Writers Salon is welcoming children's advocate and author Raye Pietruszka (MA, CCLS) for a special Saturday event. We'll be hosting Raye at the Mansion, 11 Ford Ave, on Saturday, March 21, at 10 AM (in lieu of our usual Thursday time-slot). Children are welcome! Raye will read her children's book, Only I-Love-Yous!, a project that grows out of Raye's child services work. Her story aims to help children learn strategies for coping with big worries and for developing confidence and courage. It also supports parents and caregivers in opening up honest and tough discussions.
Children (recommended up to age eight) and families can join us for a free reading and Q&A with the author. Books available for purchase.
