Celebrate the season with the Children’s Hometown Holiday LEGO Contest, sponsored by Miller’s Textile Services!
Children ages 4–17 are invited to build a LEGO creation to display in the Chamber of Commerce front window. Participation is free, and all skill levels are welcome!
How to Enter
Build your creation at home, then register and drop it off at the Chamber of Commerce office November 1–30. Each child may enter one creation made primarily from LEGO bricks and pieces. Participants may use pieces they already own. Original designs and builds inspired by existing LEGO sets are welcome—let your imagination shine!
Contest Categories
🎄 Best Holiday Spirit: The build that best captures the joy and excitement of the holiday season.
💡 Most Creative Build: The most imaginative, original, or unique LEGO creation.
🧱 Most Impressive Build: The build with the most impressive design, detail, or construction.
Public Voting
Visit the Chamber window to view the entries and scan the displayed QR code to vote electronically. Each person may submit one ballot with one vote in each of the three categories.
Voting continues through December 6, and winners will be announced December 7. The entry receiving the most votes in each category will win. Contest organizers will decide any ties and may disqualify entries that violate the rules.
Prizes
Every participant receives a small LEGO set! Each of the three category winners also receives two tickets to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus.
Pickup and Important Information
Creations must remain on display through December 7 and may be picked up afterward during Chamber office hours. Families are responsible for delivering and retrieving their creations. Event organizers are not responsible for lost, damaged, or missing LEGO pieces.
