Supporting another small business. This workshop will be hosted at Sandies cafe on Reddal Hill Road ( next to Cradley Heath Library ).
What is a Story Spoon?
A story spoon is a fabulous resource to aid children in retelling a story.
A wooden spoon is decorated to look like a character from a story and the children use it as a prop to help them retell tbe story and develop their imagination.
This session will be based around the book
' There's a dragon in your book 'by Tom Fletcher which we will read together at the start of the session. It's a really fun and interactive story which will hopefully get little imaginations fired up and ready to create.
The main character is a baby dragon and this is what we shall base our story spoon puppets on.
The children will also get to make their very own dragon egg icecream sundae which also helps to bring the story to life.
This two hour workshop is just £10 per child .
suitable for ages 4 years plus.
Parents / guardians must stay throughout and hot drinks and snacks will be available to purchase.
