Join The Children's Garden Project for a FREE, fun-filled festival featuring hands-on activities, nature exploration, delicious food, and harvest celebrations that will inspire children and families to connect with the natural world around us!

About The Children’s Garden Project
The Children’s Garden Project, located within Hamilton’s Gage Park, is an imaginative, child-led space where local children can play, garden, connect with nature, and learn about the natural world.
Our organization was born in 2021, when local children dreamed of having a shared garden space to call their own during the pandemic. This dream blossomed into The Children’s Garden, a vibrant, living classroom where every seed, flower, and veggie is planted and cared for by children and their families.
We believe that garden spaces and environmental education should be accessible to every child in Hamilton. To ensure this, our volunteer-led organization is committed to keeping all of our programming FREE and open to all.
We've provided FREE garden and environmental education to over 15,000 children and their families over the past five years. Want to help us inspire the next generation of environmental stewards right here in Hamilton?
