Happy New Year! Our next concert will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025 @ 2pm at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School in Bridgewater, NJ. This program is our annual Children’s Concert.
Come see (and hear!) different sections of the band in action as they perform fun pieces including “The Penny Whistle Song” (flutes), “Pie in the Face Polka” (clarinets), “Five to Go” (saxophones), “Travelin’ Trumpets” (trumpets), and “Lassus Trombone” (trombones). The concert will also include music from popular movies How to Train Your Dragon, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Spider-Man, and Beetlejuice.
After the concert, stick around for our Instrumental Petting Zoo—an opportunity for children to get up close to the instruments and maybe even discover their new favorite!
RVSB comprises about 70 musicians from the northern and central New Jersey area. Band membership includes professional musicians and music educators, as well as amateur musicians ranging in age from high school through retirees.
