Children’s Christmas Eve Worship and Dinner
Wednesday, December 24 at 4:00 PM
Family-friendly, brief, peaceful, and joyful! Godly Play storytelling and Christmas carols, followed by a free dinner.
RSVPs for dinner would be appreciated -- they will help our volunteers know how much food to prepare. Please RSVP for dinner by December 22. To RSVP please email Pastor Rebecca at [email protected] or leave a message on the church's voicemail at (845) 331-3030. Tell us how many people in your family will attend the service and dinner. Please also tell us if anyone in your family has food allergies. Thank you!
What is the 4:00 Christmas Eve service like? We will tell the Christmas Story and sing Christmas carols together. Children will be invited to sit on the floor with the storyteller, where they will see the creche set and be close to the story. (Fidget toys, coloring, nativity stickers, and quiet toys will also be available at the back of the sanctuary if kids need to move around and be active.) At the end of the story, we will sing "Silent Night" and "Joy to the World" and light battery-operated candles.
Following the service, we will offer a free dinner from 4:30-5:30 PM for anyone who would like to stay. Please join us!
Please note that we will also have a traditional 7:00 PM Service of Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve.
Are you wondering where to park? We suggest parking at the church's parking lot at 29 Pearl Street, Kingston, NY or at the Ulster County parking lot next door. Please enter the church through the entrance off of our parking lot, which leads to an elevator. The building is wheelchair accessible.
