You’re Invited to KPC Buddhist Relief’s Annual Berry Event!
Join us for a bountiful morning of fun, learning, and charitable community spirit at KPC Buddhist Relief’s Annual Berry Event. The event is FREE to attend, and berry-picking baskets will be provided!
We have an exciting lineup of berry fun activities that everyone in the family will enjoy:
10-10:45 - Berry Foraging Guided Walk
Learn about gathering wild edible berries throughout the beautiful trails of KPC Buddhist Temple's Peace Park. Limited to the first 50 arrivals.
The berries we'll forage are located in a wooded area - bug spray, sunscreen, and a tick check after the walk are highly recommended.
10:30-noon - Other Activities
- Art Activities: Engage in a berry-themed art project, fun for all ages.
- Make Your Own Dessert: Berry-inspired desserts with a variety of fresh ingredients.
- Build Your Own Goodie Bags: Customize your own treat bags with a variety of goodies for a sweet take-home gift.
- Farm Animal Visit: Meet and greet our friendly farm animals, and learn about their care and importance in sustainable farming.
- Koi Ponds: Meet our beautiful koi fish! They are curious and friendly!
- Volunteer: Make handcrafted notes of encouragement to be included in the food bags we donate to those in need.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
KPC Buddhist Relief is dedicated to eliminating hunger, not only through supplying food donations, but through providing educational opportunities for those interested in farming and sustainable living. Buddhist Relief’s mission is to relieve suffering - from offering humanitarian aid to those in crisis, to addressing food insecurity, to inspiring compassion for animals, to healing the earth for the benefit of countless beings.
