Children’s Advocacy Centers of South Dakota Networking and Special Event

Join us for an evening of networking, collaboration, and learning hosted by Children's Advocacy Centers of SD featuring Deanna Chancellor. The evening will begin with a social and introduction to the new CACSD Board of Directors, followed by a 60-minute training presentation by Deanna Chancellor, Training and Technical Assistance Manager at the Native Child Advocacy Resource Center.

The session, Three Tribal Areas of Consideration: Tribal Sovereignty, Tribal Systems and Partners, and Culture, will provide valuable insights into engaging effectively with Native Nations.

Attendees will:

• Gain a deeper understanding of the three key areas when working with Native Nations
• Identify critical factors that influence relationship-building with Tribal partners
• Reflect on their own practices and explore next steps for collaboration

Certificates of Attendance will be provided.

This free, in-person event includes complimentary light appetizers during social time, with a cash bar available.
