Using our innovative Future Forum model, these gatherings blend the best of Open Space Technology with Asset-Based Community Development to create a space where everyone's wisdom is valued. Our Civic Biodesign approach recognizes that community resilience begins with individual actions that ripple outward. When you start a neighborhood compost system, organize a block cleanup, or host a potluck dinner, you're not just completing a task—you're weaving the social fabric that sustains us all. These forums explore how personal wellness connects to neighborhood vitality and ultimately creates citywide resilience.
We'll explore practical actions that build community wealth and well-being: starting tool-sharing networks, creating neighborhood emergency response teams, establishing little free libraries, organizing community gardens, or developing local skills exchanges.
