(We start at Akker Brygge with ferry B22 at 9:00 to reach Drøbak at 10:25 (Havnegata 4, 1441 Drøbak))
Although Oslo lacks ZOO or aquarium, it is still possible to visit one without a long trip to Bergen or Kristiansand. There is an aquarium in the nearby town called Drøbak! What’s more, the trip can be combined with a proper ferry cruise through Oslofjord.
Therefore, we will have a full day trip to Drøbak starting with ferry B22 at 9:00 from Aker Brygge (platform D) and return at 14:10 with ferry B22 from Drøbak. (It is also possible to get there and back with a bus 500).
The Drøbak Akvarium (https://drobakakvarium.no/) tickets cost 160NOK for adults, 80NOK for children 4-14, and are free for children below 4.
If we have time, we should also visit the Tregaarden’s Christmas House (https://julehus.no/), where you can find the official Santa Claus post office (in Norway) (sic!) and delve into the Christmas spirit in the middle of spring.
