Raising children, from little babies to independent and self-sufficient adults, is a long, difficult and expensive process. There are so many things to worry about: from maternity/paternity leave, to daycare, to the far-off but serious concern of paying for post-secondary education... not to mention just getting by day by day with the extra expenses a child brings to the household! Most would agree it's all worthwhile in the end, but pretty much everyone would also agree that extra help would be welcome and appreciated!
While we're not offering to take care of your kids for you (sorry!), in this class we will be examining the impact of children on a family's finances, to help those looking to start a family get a sense of what awaits them. After that, we'll get into some strategies and government incentives available to parents, to help make their job a little easier... and finish off with some ideas on how to build a legacy to perhaps help them have an easier time helping their kids through life than you had!
Now if only you could find a babysitter so you could join us this Thursday to hear all about it... ;)

We share the same driveway as the Desjardins building and are next to Globo. The doors open at 6:00pm, with coffee and hot chocolate served for those who arrive at that time. Someone will stay downstairs to let people in until 6:40pm, after which time the doors are locked.
