Christmas may be over by a few days, but we can still celebrate the holidays and the approaching New Year. Consider this a "Holiday Gala". Dress up or not. I promise to forgo the comfy blue jeans to celebrate the season. If you have not tried English Country Dancing but really would like to experience the zesty and jovialness of this type of dance, please join us. Some of these dances date back to 1651. Our experienced dancers enjoy helping new dancers.
This month's caller is Sarah Kaiser whose calling is clear and amiable. If you have done any of the contra dances through Childgrove Country Dancers, you know Sarah will offer an evening of creative and fun dances. By the way, contra dancers are very much welcomed to join us!
Music by the band Ragged Robin. That's usually Martha Edwards and Bill Boyer. Sometimes Martha surprises us with friends added to the band.
Admission: $10 adults; $5 for students. Payment can be made with cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
Proof of Covid Vaccination is required. Masks are optional.
Come join us! I would love to close this year with a room full of dancers.
