Childbirth is an exciting and sometimes challenging journey. Our community childbirth education program is here to provide you with an understanding of the childbirth process.

• The labor and birth process

• Relaxation and breathing techniques

• Coaching skills and the role of the partner

• Anesthesia/analgesic options

• Vaginal and cesarean births

• Postpartum expectations

• An In-Person class with a nurse educator and live Q&A session.

• This class will cover all subject matters you (willto receive a digital copy of a childbirth education book with registration)

We suggest that you bring lunch, snacks and drink. (we do have water dispenser, coffee and tea on site)

This event will be held at the Katz Institute for Women's Health, 1111 Marcus Avenue, Suite M60, New Hyde Park, NY. On the day of class, please enter through Parking Entrance #2.

Refund policy

Please Note: Registrants must attend on scheduled date to receive a digital copy of the Your Guide to Labor and Birth book with your registration.

Cancellation Refunds are available upon written notice to [email protected] within 3 days (72 hours) PRIOR to the class date. Cancellations are subject to a reduced rate by $10.00 due to the incurred cost for the digital copy of Your Guide to Labor and Birth book.

After the 3 day (72 hour) period, NO REFUNDS! This policy also applies to anyone who does not show up for class and will be considered as a NO SHOW, NO REFUND!
