For over a century, NYC has been the birthplace of the “it” girl. This Escape takes us to the heart of Manhattan, home of Madison Square, the fashion district, Broadwayy rehearsal hideaways, and all of the grit and glow, the comings and goings of the people who make this city a magical place to be. Tag. You’re “it”.
Your Escape starts a bit early this time. Upon RSVP, you will receive a biography about Evelyn Nesbit, the face of the Gibson Girl, showgirl, and tragic plaything to architect-millionaire Stanford White. Trust us, this dramedy is both quick and insightful. You’ll also learn about the neighborhood in which we are staying, the layers of experiences that we’ll stand on.
While in the city, you’ll enjoy one or two naughty nights of mischief, including tickets to two of NYC’s most notorious variety revues, a private group dance class with one of the performers, and a group tintype portrait. Additional romps through the fashion district and a fantastic block of thrift/vintage shops are also on menu….as is a dinner at the famed Hotel Chelsea.
