About the Program

Each June, the Society holds an annual meeting to elect its Board of Directors and review ongoing projects with rank-&-file members. This event also helps to orient newcomers seeking more details about how the Society functions. This is a great time to learn! Members and curious non-members alike are encouraged to attend.

Venue and Parking

Find us in the Bazan Community Room, on the lower level of the Chicopee Public Library.

Free parking is available in the library lot at 449 Front Street. On-street parking is also available along Ames Avenue and Front and Bell Streets.

About the Chicopee Historical Society

The Chicopee Historical Society is a non-profit dedicated to the rediscovery and preservation of Chicopee's history. In pursuit of this mission, the Society preserves artifacts related to the city's history and presents six educational programs in Spring and Fall. We rely on donations and the support of our members and volunteers to do this work.
