Chickens for Meat and Eggs - A Beginning Producers Series Class

Bullitt County and Spencer County Cooperative Extension will continue working together to bring a multi-part class series for beginning farmers of all ages. If you have 10 years or less of landownership or farming experience or if you are just in search of direction after many years, consider joining us.

In June, we will discuss how to raise chickens for meat and eggs with Trimble County Extension Agent and lifelong farmer, Regina Utz. Bring your questions!

We encourage new landowners, beginning farmers and market gardeners, hobby farmers, and aspiring producers in Spencer, Bullitt, and surrounding counties to attend.

Even if you missed the first classes you are welcome to attend any or all upcoming classes!

Light dinner provided at 6:00 PM, class begins soon after.
