Chicken Week is one of the kids’ FAVORITE weeks of summer at GL and is all about learning where eggs come from, caring for chickens, and experiencing life around the coop 💛
During this week campers will:
🐓 Collect fresh eggs from the coop
🐥 Learn all about chickens & their life cycle
🥚 Help care for chicks & farm animals
🌿 Make animal salads & treats
☀️ Enjoy creek play, mud kitchens & outdoor adventures
🐐 Participate in hands-on farm chores & learning stations
✨ Build confidence, responsibility & friendships
At GL, we believe kids thrive when they’re trusted with real experiences, outdoor play, and meaningful connection to animals and agriculture 🌱
And let’s be honest… there will probably be LOTS of chicken cuddles this week too 🥹🐓
