Chickasaw Inkana Foundation Legacy Awards Gala

The Chickasaw Inkana Foundation (CIF) announces its principal fundraising event, the Legacy Awards Gala to support the Chickasaw Heritage Center’s “Journey Home” Capital Campaign. This event celebrates First American life, history and culture along with recognizing distinguished community leaders with the Chickasaw Leadership Legacy Award. This award honors those individuals who excel in the fields of philanthropic endeavors, community service, political affairs, or military service and whose illustrious careers and lives exemplify and uphold the mission of the CIF and core values of the Chickasaw Nation.

The Legacy Awards Gala is an immersive event where guests will be able to experience elements of Chickasaw history and culture. The celebration will consist of cultural demonstrations from the Chickasaw people displaying social and stomp dancing, flute music, and traditional cultural activities. In addition, the art, beadwork and pottery of many First Americans will be available for purchase at the silent auction.
