The Chickamauga Art & Folk Festival is a vibrant celebration of folk-inspired art, tradition, and innovation, highlighting works that honor heritage while embracing fresh interpretations across styles and backgrounds. Hosted by The 109 Gallery, this inclusive outdoor event spotlights artists, makers, and craftspeople from throughout the Southeast and beyond. The festival champions Appalachian and Indigenous traditions alongside abstract, conceptual, and contemporary interpretations of folk art, creating space for storytelling, cultural resonance, and artistic expression.
This year, the Chickamauga Art & Folk Festival is proud to be teaming up with our partners for Chickapalooza, a collaborative community celebration bringing together music, art, and cultural programming across Historic Downtown Chickamauga. Together with the City of Chickamauga, Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden, Walker Rocks, and KZ106, we are working to create a full day of experiences that are welcoming, family-friendly, and accessible to the public.
The art festival and exhibition programming remain free and open to the community, reflecting our shared commitment to providing meaningful arts opportunities for residents and visitors alike. Live performances, demonstrations, and artist-led activities will take place throughout the day, with additional ticketed evening music programming helping support the continued growth of this free community event.

Music Lineup & Tickets
As part of this year’s collaboration with Chickapalooza, the celebration will continue into the evening with a special concert series at the Historic Gordon Lee Mansion, the music will take place outdoors from 4pm into the later evening hours. Bring your lawn chairs!
These ticketed performances help support the free programming offered throughout the day, local economy and strengthen our partnerships with the City of Chickamauga, Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden, and regional arts and music organizations.
