Climb into a world of rhythm, laughter, and imagination with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom: The Musical! Inspired by the beloved children’s book, this brand-new stage adventure turns the alphabet into a cast of colorful characters who sing, dance, and tumble their way up—and down—the famous coconut tree.
Guided by a troupe of playful Players, the story bursts to life with lively songs, physical comedy, and dance. Along the way, audiences join in the fun, clapping, calling back, filling in the blanks, and even helping the letters pick themselves up after their big crash. With surprises like the pop-star group LMNOP, the capital-letter parents rushing to the rescue, and the always-last little z, every scene brings a new invitation to play.
More than a musical, this is a celebration of imagination, language, connection, and joy. Children and grown-ups alike will leave humming, laughing, and remembering that stories (and letters) are best when shared together.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom: The Musical was originally developed and produced by Seattle Children’s Theatre and will debut there in September 2025.
