Van, a small-town hustler with big-city dreams, signs on as the wheelman for what should’ve been a clean, one-point-five-million-dollar score.
But after a violent crash flips the getaway, Van wakes up in a body bag—money gone, presumed dead, and marked for it.
Betrayed and left for dead, every breath becomes a fight for survival as Van navigates the deadly fallout tearing through the streets of K*ll City.
Lady V—mob boss, mastermind, and queen of the underworld—wants her money back and sends her relentless enforcer, Glock, to hunt it down by any means necessary.
Now, every lowlife, grifter, and gun-for-hire in K*ll City wants a piece of the score. The city’s lit up, the heat’s on, and Van’s caught in the crosshairs of chaos. No rules. No allies.

It is both a deeply personal portrait of one family’s struggle to preserve culture across generations and a broader chronicle of the lesser-told American story of Latino identity. Info: Feature Film: The Battle for Grassroots is a documentary about grassroots racing and what it really takes to keep it alive. The film follows short track promoter Robert Snyder as he fights to keep his speedway open, alongside drivers Ryan and Austin Pannone and Tyler Gallup as they push through a full season at Orange Show Speedway, one of the last remaining short tracks on the West Coast.
Through their stories, the film shows the reality of short track racing: the cost, the risk, the long nights, and the tight-knit community that forms around the track. As more local speedways shut down, Short Track looks at what these places mean to the people who race there and what could be lost if they disappear.
