All Chicago Monday night contra dances are MASK OPTIONAL.
WHEN: Monday, June 15, 2026 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
FREE BEGINNER LESSON: @6:30-7PM
WHERE: Irish American Heritage Center - 4th FLOOR ballroom

Large Free Parking Lot
CALLER: Devin Pohly
BAND: Roasted and Salted -- Aubrey Swift (fiddle), Kathy Hirsh (guitar), Fred Campeau (banjo) and Lezlee Crawford (bass)
COST: $7-10 adults, $5 seniors and students
We now accept electronic payment with the Zeffy app
Please bring a clean/dry pair of shoes to change into for dancing. The salt/water/dirt ruins the newly refinished wood floor.
On the second Monday of the month we celebrate birthdays
Generally 130-200 diverse dancers.
No partner or Experience necessary.
Bring a water bottle.
Snacks for the break are welcome.
All different kinds of people are welcome.
It is close to public transportation. Blue line Montrose stop
