Hey guys, welcome to the 2nd Rivals Tournament!I'm excited to give this one another go and improve on last years.
This is an open tournament for any and all skill levels, so invite your friends!
This will feature a 1v1 and 2v2 Division.
Rules: Each player will stand on either side of a 4' x 50' Court.
They will be given one ball each and a 3rd ball will be placed in the middle of the court.
Once the game begins, players will only be able to throw the balls once. If no clear winner is decided after all 3 balls have been thrown, that match is a draw and will be considered a wash and no points will be awarded. (2V2 Division will not have this rule)
Best of 5 During Elimination and RR, Double Round Robin- Double Elimination
The teams picked for 2v2 will be determined based on how the individual performs in the 1v1 division during ROUND ROBIN, not bracket play.
First place in round robin will be paired with last place and so on.
The gym opens at 8:00 A.M. and we will begin playing at 9:00 A.M.
As of right now, this booking is from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 P.M.
If we get more than 20 people to register, I will consider booking more hours.
Ball Type : 7" Foam Balls/ Possibly Cloth for an extra set of divisions, based on hours booked.
