Welcome to the Chiang Mai Zine Club!Calling all artists, creatives, writers, and journaling enthusiasts!
Looking for a space to share ideas, get inspired, and create? Join Chiang Mai Zine Club, a hangout dedicated to all things zines.
Each session dives into zine history, culture, and hands-on techniques. For Week 1, we’re folding, cutting, and creating the classic 8-fold zine. No experience needed! Just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Dates: Saturdays through October! (October 11, 18, and 25)
Time: 10 am - 12 pm
Venue: Golden Land Solidarity
Workshop Fee: 300 Baht
What to Expect:
Kick off our first session with a deep dive into zine history, their role in modern creative and activist spaces, and hands-on time to make your own 8-fold zine.
We'll provide paper and a variety of art supplies, but feel free to bring your own materials to personalize your zine-or share with others in the group!
Donations of art supplies to Chiang Mai Zine Club are always welcome!
Workshop facilitator: Inky Fingers Printshop
Languages: Workshops will be conducted in English (support is available in Thai and Burmese if requested in advance).
Kids ages 8+ are welcome to join us, parents are welcome to attend with their child.
