What to Expect:
Adopting some of the ideas garnered from the successful 20 year run of the SKB workshop’s educational programs, the Cheyenne Creative Corral, in partnership with Arts Cheyenne, presents a week-long artist workshop retreat and educational opportunity.
This series is designed for professional artists to network, advance their careers, and gain cultural insight into the west. It also provides a fantastic opportunity for artists to hone and improve their skills on several different media.
What’s Included:
This week-long arts intensive program will open with an hors d-oeuvres reception on the first evening, and there may be potential art-ventures to several local attractions such as the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum, Terry Bison Ranch, the Cheyenne Depot Museum and more. Artists are encouraged to visit these and cultural gems in their free time.
Participants will enjoy a morning and an afternoon educational program with one of their chosen instructors. Following an evening meal provided at The Office Bar and Grill, there will be lectures and presentations covering a number of topics. On the final date, there will be a special dinner where the public will be invited. Everyone will be able to peruse the art in the miniature show and purchase pieces if they desire. As with a gallery and as fiscal sponsor, Arts Cheyenne will receive a thirty percent commission, and the artist will receive the remaining seventy percent. There will also be a silent auction, more details of which will be provide following registration.

The Office Bar & Grill, which has several spacious rooms where classes will be held, and where the evening presentations will be occur.

What is the cost?
The cost for the entire workshop with all the benefits, lessons and possible attractions, as well as the evening hors d-oeuvres reception (which will have a cash bar) all evening meals, the miniature art show, the presentations and everything else listed herein will be $975.00.
