Chew The Fat! proudly presents a very special night with British electronic music pioneers Leftfield performing an exclusive DJ set in Ipswich for the very first time.
A true landmark act in UK dance music, Leftfield — now led by founding member Neil Barnes — helped define the sound of progressive house, breakbeat and techno through the 90s and beyond. From the groundbreaking Leftism to the era-defining Rhythm and Stealth, their music has influenced generations of clubbers, producers and DJs across the world.
This rare intimate club appearance promises a deep and powerful journey through house, techno, breakbeat and expertly crafted electronic music from one of the most respected names in the scene.
After the huge success of recent Chew The Fat! events, including a sold out show with house legend Marshall Jefferson, the legendary club brand returns with one of its biggest bookings to date.
Originally launched in Brixton in 1996, Chew The Fat! became one of the UK’s most celebrated breakbeat club nights, touring Ibiza, Europe, South America and Australia while hosting some of electronic music’s most influential artists. Now back in Ipswich, founder Paul ‘Trouble’ Arnold continues the legacy with another unforgettable night for Suffolk music lovers.
