Chestertown Women's Circle

Welcome to the Chestertown Women's Circle! Join us for an afternoon of community connection. This in-person event will be held at 218 Round Top Rd Chestertown. Come together with like-minded women to share stories, support each other, and build lasting friendships. Our priority is to create a safer space for authentic expression and connection. This is an opportunity to be part of a community that uplifts and celebrates each other. Mark your calendars and we can't wait to see you there!
🥰 About your facilitator: Mary Aline has been gathering people together in circle since 2015. She is a women’s health advocate and has a rooted passion for creating sacred spaces for learning, connection, and empowerment.

🌞 What to Expect:

• Time to arrive and get comfortable
• Opening- discussion of theme or inspirational topic
• Open time to share (not required, wittnessing is just as important)
• Closing of the circle

🌿 What to Bring:

• Something to share with the group- this could be food, drink, a song, tarot cards, a poem, etc.
• A personal cup to be used for tea & beverages
• A cushion to sit on, any folks or elders will receive priority supportive seating (couches, chairs, etc.)

🌈 Community Guidelines - To maintain the integrity of our circle, we ask that all participants honor the following:

• This is a confidential space, meaning personal stories that get shared in this space do not leave this space
• This is a space for witnessing, not problem-solving. Advice is only welcome when explicitly requested.
• Hate or judgmental language will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave.
• We honor everyone’s right to share (or not). No one is required to speak; silent presence is just as valuable.
• We are mindful of the time and space we take up. We will hold each other accountable to ensure everyone who wants to share has the opportunity.
• This is an inclusive space. Non-binary folks are welcome, and both gender-neutral and gendered terms will be used throughout.
