• XO Kids, above XO Church, 9 Tay Street, Invercargill
• 5 Round Swiss format event (everyone plays in ALL 5 rounds, players paired based on current scores so designed to avoid too many mismatches)
• Time control 15 mins + 5 second Increment
• Training will be given to those unfamiliar with chess clocks
• Final positions decided by tie-breaks
• All ages (primarily for juniors, but some club adults will be playing as well - special prizes for Juniors!)
• Entry Fee $20
• Entry fee to be paid to 38-9014-0346070-01 (Richard Christie)
• Parents are encouraged to stay during the afternoon.
• Juniors - Prizes – medals, books, other chess goodies, there will be a lucky draw as well! (Adults - Cash prizes!!!)
• Doors open 1:30pm (for player check-in)
• Round 1 starts 2pm
• Prize giving starts approximately 4:50pm (just a short one)
• Organised by Richard Christie – FIDE Arbiter, Associate Organizer
