Chess Day at the Mall — Saturday, February 14thJoin us for a full day of chess excitement hosted by Chess Bus at the Richland Mall in Ontario, Ohio! Whether you’re brand-new to the game or a seasoned competitor, this event has something for everyone.
We will have our regular programs PLUS a USCF Rated Event (More Details Soon).
11:00 AM – Free Lessons, Projector Lecture with 3x Ohio Champ Coach Carl.
12:00 PM – Arena Tournament (Trophy + Cash Prizes)
Test your skills in our lively Arena-style tournament. Entry is $15, and Chess Bus supplies all boards and clocks (Please bring equipment if you have it!)
SPECIAL PRIZE FOR TOP TWO PERSON TEAM!
Players can jump in or out anytime—points decide the winners, trophy plus cash prizes for top three places, participation awards. Fun for the whole family.
3:00–5:00 PM – Open Play
Stay after the tournament for free open play. Meet fellow chess fans, enjoy friendly games, and help build our growing local chess community.
