From 22–24 May 2026, Chesham Fringe returns to transform the town into a buzzing hub of creativity, connection and celebration—and this year promises to be its most exciting yet.

What makes Chesham Fringe so special isn’t just the incredible line-up (though there’s plenty of that). It’s the spirit behind it. Entirely volunteer-run, the festival is powered by a passionate team of “Fringe Makers” who bring warmth, energy and a genuine sense of welcome to every performance. Across one packed weekend, 14 venues throughout Chesham will come alive with an extraordinary mix of talent with over 150 performances across 6 genres. From local rising stars to nationally acclaimed performers, the Fringe offers a platform for artists at every stage of their journey. It’s where new voices are discovered, bold ideas are celebrated, and audiences get to experience something truly different.

The programme is bursting with variety—comedy, theatre, music, cabaret, spoken word and family shows—meaning there’s something for everyone, whether you’re planning a full weekend immersion or just a spontaneous night out. One moment you might be laughing at a sharp comedy set, the next you’re captivated by live music or an intimate theatrical performance or some spoken word. It’s this sense of discovery that makes every Fringe experience unique.
