The Cherry Blossom Festival Saturday in Washington, DC. With departures available from Shippensburg, Chambersburg and Greencastle. (based on interest)
Cost is $110 per person and includes transportation, morning bakery items, lunch, and a narrated tour full of information some may not know.
Celebrate the arrival of spring with the vibrant pale pink and white cherry blossoms that create a stunning backdrop to the Tidal Basin. A gift from Japan to the United States in 1912 these 3,000 trees have withstood the test of time. We will start with lunch at the popular restaurant The Fish Market (with a selected lunch menu) in Old Town Alexandria. After lunch we will begin our way to see the cherry blossoms and our nation's capital with a guided ride/walking tour. We will begin our day with a tour featuring some stops at various monuments and photo opportunities along the way.
Our guide will both educate and entertain you with fascinating history and insider stories about our Nation's Capital. Afterwards we will depart home, fast food stop
