Join us Sunday, September 13, from 10 AM–3 PM for a FREE, family-friendly day on the Ranch! If you’ve always wondered what lies beyond the gates, this is your chance to come explore.
Enjoy a day filled with:
🚁 Douglas County Emergency Management helicopter
🚒 Local first responders & interactive displays
🐮 Cherokee Ranch Santa Gertrudis cattle
🦎 Live reptile show & 🐐 petting zoo
🎨 Kids’ crafts & activities
🎶 Music, games & entertainment
🛍️ Local vendors & food trucks
🐻 SCFD Bear & Agent Douglas
🌿 Wildlife and community partners
🏰 Beautiful Castle grounds & Front Range views
We’ll be joined by community partners including the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Emergency Management, West Douglas Fire, SCFD, Rocky Mountain Wildlife Alliance, and Douglas County Fair Foundation.
🎟️ Admission is FREE, but advance tickets are required. Select a one-hour arrival window when reserving your tickets. Once you arrive, stay and enjoy the festivities until 3 PM!
Please note: Community Day takes place outdoors on the Castle grounds. The interior of Cherokee Castle will not be open for tours or public access.
