Calling all Cherokees! Please join us for our largest event of the year!We are excited to visit with our Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr, various Cherokee Nation Services, cultural presentations, and demonstrations. Cherokee Nation Registration will be on-site for photo IDs and citizenship applications. Photo IDs will stop accepting applications at 3:30 pm. There will be plenty of fellow Cherokees to visit with and crafts for the kids!
We have a new location at the Contra Costa Fairgrounds and Event Park in Antioch!
Lunch and water will be provided by Cherokee Nation. Feel free to bring your own preferred non-alcoholic beverages. We also recommend that you give yourself plenty of time to get to the location.
CNCV volunteers will be the friendly-looking folks in the red aprons. So please come say hi, introduce yourself, and consider becoming a member! CNCV will have merchandise available for purchase at our Cultural Center and will also be available to assist during the event as needed and to process new and renewing memberships.
We’re partnering with Cherokee Nation and the Cherokee Society of the Greater Bay Area to help organize volunteers.
