THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK (1987)

Director: George Miller

Co-starring Jack Nicholson, Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer

Released during a remarkable period of reinvention in Cher's career, The Witches of Eastwick showcases her commanding screen presence and sharp comic instincts. As Alexandra Medford, a woman rediscovering her confidence and independence, Cher brings intelligence, wit, and emotional depth to a role that could easily have been reduced to stereotype. Decades later, the performance remains a compelling portrait of self-discovery, delivered with the confidence and charisma that would soon make Cher one of Hollywood's most celebrated actresses.
