About this Event
This half day workshop will discuss the hazards that chemicals present in a work environment. Discussions will include health hazards that put employees at risk, as well as physical hazards such as flammability, corrosion, and explosibility that put employees, properties, and the general public at risk. Participants will learn how to properly use, handle, and store chemicals, as well as what measures employees can take to protect themselves, and related OSHA safety standards. This training is a must for anyone who works with or around chemicals.
Who Should Attend: Employees from Department of Public Works, Building and Grounds, Facilities Maintenance, Water, Wastewater, Parks and Recreation, or anyone who works with or around chemicals, or any supervisor responsible for such employees.

Registration Info:
- Available to Members of The Trust's Property/Liability and/or Workers' Compensation Programs.
- Advance registration is required.
- Registration is limited to 4 employees per Member. If you have additional employees you would like added to our wait list, please let us know.
- Deadline for registration is Friday, October 24,2025.
- There is a $50 “NO SHOW” fee for anyone who registers but then fails to attend the training.
