About this Event

Event Description

Join us for an inspiring session exploring the health disparities experienced by Australians living in rural and regional communities, and the important role complementary medicine can play in improving access to healthcare outside major cities. Chelsea will share her journey of establishing and growing a thriving naturopathic clinic in her rural hometown of Bordertown, South Australia, while being based in Melbourne. She'll discuss how her unique model of consulting in Bordertown for one week each month has enabled her to build a successful practice while addressing a significant gap in regional healthcare. Chelsea's innovative approach offers a fresh perspective on rural practice and highlights the meaningful impact naturopaths can have in underserved communities.

Her journey demonstrates that a successful regional practice can be built in a flexible and sustainable way, while reinforcing the importance of accessible, community-based, in-person healthcare in an increasingly digital world.
