Take a delicious trip back to the 1940s as our talented chefs re-create popular American dishes from the WWII era, showcasing the ingenuity and resourcefulness of home cooks during this challenging time. 🍳An ASL interpreter will be present at the demonstration for those who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing.
Located outside “Our War Too: Women in Service,” this program is free for members or included with museum admission.
🎖️ About “Our War Too: Women in Service”:
Making its Midwest traveling debut, this special exhibit honors the nearly 350,000 American women who served during World War II. With over 200 unique artifacts from The National WWII Museum’s collection, explore the efforts, struggles and accomplishments of these servicewomen, the impacts of which extend into the present day.
