Join Chef Camille for an unforgettable week of French cooking, where teens (ages 11 and up) will master both sweet and savory recipes, learn real kitchen skills, and discover French language and culture, all in a fun, hands-on environment!

Camp Schedule with French Language Immersion:
Monday: French Street Food & Café Classics
- Sweet & savory crêpes
- Croque Monsieur sliders
- Intro to French food culture
Tuesday: French Bakery Day (Boulangerie Basics)
- Brioche or pain au lait
- Chocolate chip rolls
- Intro to yeast + dough shaping
Wednesday: French Savory Bistro Day
- Make mini quiches (Lorraine or veggie options)
- Prepare a simple fresh salad + vinaigrette
- Assemble a French sandwich (jambon-beurre style)
- Learn basic kitchen prep & assembly
Thursday: Strawberry Shortcake: French Technique
- Shortcake biscuit (or génoise option)
- Whipped cream
- Macerated strawberries
- Layering
Friday: Dessert Showcase & Graduation
- Profiteroles (cream puffs) + chocolate sauce
- Final plating
- Parent tasting event
- Simple French presentation
- Photos + Diplôme de Petit Chef
Please note our requirements for kitchen attire:
Dress code is appropriate to kitchen setting. Rubber soled, non-slip, closed-toe shoes, are ¨REQUIRED. (ie: sneakers are fine.)
The kitchen is warm on summer days. Short sleeved shirts are appropriate for both boys and girls. The choice of long pants or shorts are allowed.
Clothing not allowed: bare midriffs, overly loose clothing (a hazard near open flame) flip flops, open sandals, excessive jewelry. Long hair MUST be tied up and secured. All of these attire requirements are for kitchen SAFETY.
Drop off and Pick-Up:
Children may arrive starting at 8:15am, but not earlier.
Pick up is promptly at 12:00pm. Any child not picked up by 12:10pm will be charged a fee of $10 per every 10 minutes past 12:10pm.
Important:
A policy waiver will be emailed to you upon registration. Parent must complete and return it 7 days prior to the start of camp. Let us know about any allergies or special considerations so we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your child.

Info: Kick off the week with fun and interactive French favorites. Students will:
Make sweet & savory crêpes with a variety of fillings
Prepare Croque Monsieur sliders with melted cheese & ham
Explore a build-your-own fillings bar
Learn basic French food culture and simple expressions

Tuesday –French Bakery Day (Boulangerie Basics)
Info: Students dive into classic French baking techniques. They will:
Prepare brioche or pain au lait from scratch
Shape and bake chocolate chip rolls
Learn the basics of yeast, proofing, and dough handling
Practice hands-on baking skills in a fun environment

Wednesday – French Savory Bistro Day
Info: A hands-on day inspired by a French café kitchen. Students will:
Make quiches (Lorraine or veggie options)
Prepare a fresh salad with homemade vinaigrette

Build confidence with basic kitchen prep & assembly

Thursday – Strawberry Shortcake: French Technique
Info: A creative dessert day with a French twist. Students will:
Bake shortcake biscuits (or génoise sponge option)
Prepare lightly sweetened whipped cream
Make macerated strawberries
Learn layering, balance, and presentation techniques

Friday – Dessert Showcase & Graduation

A fun and memorable finale to celebrate the week. Students will:
Create profiteroles (cream puffs) with chocolate sauce
Practice final plating and presentation
