Cheese Making Class: Chèvre
Join us at Christianson’s Nursery on September 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM for a fun, hands-on cheesemaking workshop.
You’ll learn how to craft fresh Chevre cheese from scratch using local goat milk. Whether you’re a cheese lover or simply cheese-curious, you’ll learn the basics of cheesemaking while making, tasting, and enjoying locally made cheeses from Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
The Skagit Valley Farmers Market is open from 10-3PM on the same campus; 50+ local farmers, crafters and makers gather in the field at Christianson's Nursery every Sunday from 10-3PM starting May 24-Sept 27, 2026.

About the Instructor
Marisa Papetti has been teaching cooking classes internationally for over 9 years. She is a beekeeper and the owner of Marie’s Bees and PNW Artisan Marketplace, held at Christianson’s Nursery during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. She looks forward to meeting you in person.
