Throw on your comfiest flannel and boots and come drink some bourbon with us at Cheese Bar's Fall Bourbon Dinner on Tuesday, September 30th! The evening will feature Bardstown Bourbon and include a guided tasting led by Jaz'min Weaver, Bardstown’s National Brand Ambassador, who will be joining us from Kentucky.
Jaz’min Weaver spent the last decade running premium bar programs in Metro Detroit with a focus on low-waste and seasonality, while expertly honing her craft. Her background includes extensive beverage pairing to ever-changing prix fixe menus, and a passion for exploring flavors, aromas and all things sensory. Her expertise ranges from pairing fragrances to cocktails, cocktails to oysters, and everything in between.
Jaz’ is a certified Executive Bourbon Steward, 2022 LEE Initiative Mentee, former Secretary and Board Member of the Detroit chapter of the USBG. This path has led her to her current role of National Brand Ambassador for Bardstown Bourbon Company, where she is proud to contribute to the future of bourbon.
The bourbons we'll be enjoying taste like autumn; apples and spice (think pumpkin spice latte!) and will make you feel all warm and fuzzy. Cozy vibes!
There will be five super special bourbon cocktails crafted by our very own Andy Groomes, paired with creative dishes inspired by the season from Chef Brett!
