Singles Handicapped Cricket w/ Calcutta$25 per person
Must pre-register before May 9th to allow time to check average/assign rank class. PAYMENT CAN BE MADE DAY OF EVENT.
120% PAYOUT ($5 ADDED PER SHOOTER)
Bar Opens at 11am.
Check in starts at 1pm
Calcutta begins at 3pm.
Bracket Draw and Tournament starts at conclusion of Calcutta
RANKING PROCESS
All entries will be placed in to one of 9 classes (D,C,B,A,AA, Master, Classic, Pro, Elite) based on current league/tournament averages and known ability based on tournament director discretion.
GAME FORMAT
Tournament will be double elimination, 2 out of 3 on both sides of the bracket. Shooter with higher class rank will have to beat lower ranked shooter by 60 points per class they are above them. For example, if a shooter is 2 classes higher than their opponent, they would have to beat them by 120 points, being able to go out on a tie. The point differential must be accomplished before the game is 'finished' on the board (shooter has all numbers closed out and more/equal points than their opponent)
CALCUTTA
The Calcutta is an auction of all players in the tournament before the beginning of play. The funds collected from the Calcutta are kept in a separate pool from entry fees and are paid out to the person/people that win the auction for the person finishing in the respective position in the tournament. Order of auction will be randomized prior to the beginning and will not be the same randomization for the bracket draw. Shooters class rank will be announced along with their name at time of auction.
